2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

I think he would take someone to the woodshed for him though.

I could see the Lakers wanting him. JJ is a really smart dude and probably sees the value in Sexton.
Lakers trade for stars. They arent going to give us a ton for a guy without a name.

And just FYI, we could trade a player still to Minny for a complete removal of protections on the 2029 which I think long-term is high value smart move. Maybe send them Clarkson for that removal.

And they could use Clarkson in the playoffs.
Yes, let’s make a team who owes us picks better… again.

I'm a little worried on the shot. I think he can guard up but won't be as strong as Holiday or Smart... those guys are like strongest guards in the league though. It looked like he stood guys up when they tried to go through him but in the nba that is a different level of dude. I think White/Caruso/Quickley/Brunson all have components I can see.
Agree. Carter won't grow into Smart or Holiday. He's good all-around player though, but I always tend to stay away from draft prospects who look good against younger players.

I don’t think Dilly can be a decent defender. That’s a bigger (less-fixable) problem.
Dilly’s got great moves but has nothing to give defensively. When I watched Garland defend against Banchero in the playoffs, Garland looked like a fly defending against a bull. It was comical.
