Some nuggets from the Givony/Nate Duncan pod. I found this podcast really funny because I feel like it was Givony's true thoughts and get the impression he tempers things down in the articles.
- Reed Sheppard looks like he works at Subway, but he's good
- I don't think either (Holland and Castle) can shoot, but Castle definitely can't shoot. I've seen them airball too many times over the years.
- Matas is the best 1 vs 0 player in the draft. Freak athlete, optimistic on shot
- Castle turned the ball over a million times in HS (It seems as though Givony hates him, but begrudgingly ranks him high because of the consensus)
- Givony believes in Clingan's shooting
- Duncan says Holland had a great Hoop Summit. Givony thinks Ron Holland is a guy who looks good at all star events, but it's fake.
- Givony thinks Holland is a terrible defender. No progress as a shooter/airballed a bunch a pro day.
- GLeague Ignite was the worst team in history, it's everyone's fault
- Givony loves Filipowski
- Collier can't shoot, bad decision maker, bad defender. "His shot is ****ed".
- Dillingham has great feel, can pass well. If you give him the runway he will score 25 ppg.
