Like I said, do you care about Tom Cruise practicing Scientology if the guy keeps making good movies? These are grown adults making adults decisions. We as audiences are here to watch entertainment, not to get into people's own personal business.
If Tom Cruise was also grooming a minor on the side, yes, I would find that very bad.

I mean, he appears alienated from his family and he reportedly dropped in the draft related to this matter, not to mention his personal life is on social media blast. I would suggest none of this has been good for his life or career.

And his family leaking the story out was the cause to all of that. Filip was receiving college education from a nation's top 15 college, playing high level basketball in one of the best programs in the world and getting drafted into the best league in the world to make millions, all while dating this woman. Does he look like someone who needs help?
That's what you think the conversation has been about?
I don't think a single person here is talking about whether Flip is in the wrong. I'm happy we got him and from a pure basketball perspective I have no worries.
Just think it's weird to jump down his family's throats when knowing next to nothing about what happened and to say stupid things like "Even if he was groomed, who cares"

They could do with more huge soccer franchise involvement off the back of that, like there is in Spain. Maybe PSG will become involved. The leagues with the strong multi-sports clubs tend to be strongest.

Now that we've settled this complex debate where we don't have the information to actually say much beyond "a college graduate going to high school prom is weird and seems creepy, fractured family relationships are heartbreaking and complicated, wish him the best, and that his support system and this around him can guide him on the right path but he doesn't need randos on the Internet psycho analyzing his life from two tweets" I think it's time to move on to other hard hitting Jazz topics like "who watched the presidential debate last night?"

Working on it. I just wanna mention with the KO comp that KO was kind of a terror in the pick and roll and got on the rim a lot in space (also a better shooter). Flip doesn’t move like him.
It’s a fine pick at this spot in the draft but I’m still skeptical. The weird family stuff is also not a plus. Would much rather have second drafted AJ Griffin even though he’s apparently a full-tilt dumb *** weirdo.

I think most people are assuming the quotation marks on "grooming" because the family sounds a bit unhinged. You probably would too if you weren't getting a chubby off the "Mormon" part of it.

Flip's upside is interesting and good 3rd big imo. Maybe there is more... at 32 that's great. I think he has a good chance to hit his upside even if it is low. That has basically always been where I am on him.
I’m interested in how he holds defensively. He was pretty good in college but I wonder if the lack of length catches up to him.

He's going to get smoked at times. He needs to become a world class charge taker like Mo Wagner. He will end up average/bad imo because his hands are awesome. One of those guys that times things well and once he gets his hands on it its usually his. I worry less about length and more about movement on defense.
He does play quite hard…it’s something I liked about him his Freshman year. I think he might end up getting buy on some scrappy doo type defense, but he’ll be OK.
I think his movement is alright, but it’s another thing that I worry will catch up to him as the competition gets better. Some people comparing to Horford…maybe like 40 year old Al Horford.
She was born in September of 1997 (not 28 years old while he was in high school like the family says). He was born November of 2003. It is 6 years different. They are both supposedly happy. They supposedly started dating when he was 18 and she was 24. It is a bit odd, but they were both legal adults. As for the religion stuff, that is all speculation by the family as to why they think the relationship with Kyle has suffered. So it is a mute point to argue. Plus she (Caitlin Hutchison) is cute.
