What's new

2024 NBA Offseason

Who is supposed to be in the market for him at this stage?
Philly Orlando Clips. Some internet scuttlebutt that it’s Philly but I think they may be leverage.

So GS gonna lose Klay. Green and Curry aging… what’s their move?

I'm still thinking an Ingram 3 teamer to GSW is possible. GSW doesn't seem to have the assets NOP would covet, but another team might...................

What team though?

Oh us you mean us.

IMO, if Ingram is traded we'll be involved, or CLE will be involved. Allen/Kessler should be the guys they're targeting.
The pelicans deal as presently constructed can’t be completed in either cap year… it’s complex but it is going to be expanded. There is a clear second shoe that is dropping.

If the Jazz renegotiate Lauri’s salary this year to a full max contract, they will be just over the salary floor but would retain roughly $13 million in space. So that’s exactly what they’re going to do.

They would then be one of maybe two teams heading into the season with cap room while half the league is over at least the first-apron.

The best value play is doing that R&E and trading Kessler to render the team defense insolvent and subsequently start the season right: losing a **** load of games.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but the WNBA all star game featured team USA vs non team USA. I didn't watch the game, but understand it was great. I like this idea for future NBA all star games to play team USA vs the world.

The WNBA has been a fun follow this summer league. With a lot of people tuning in for the first time (like myself) there's going to be a ton of crazy/hot takes but that comes with the territory. It feels like there is a lot on the line every day which is something that has somewhat been lost in the NBA. The all star game was great. Highly competitive.....in general it feels like the regular season is 10x more competitive than the NBA regular season.

All we got to do is get NBA players to be incredibly jealous of each other's success.

It's definitely an interesting story line....especially in that All Star game. I don't care what gets NBA players to start competing harder (in all games), but it would be a welcome sight. Some of these WNBA games feel like life or death for them. They are playing the biggest games of their lives every week.
