AD likely out for the year. Please tell me again about how wrong I was about Dallas being a tank threat. Just an absolute disaster last night.

You can go and check what I said and pull the full receipts. I priced in an AD trade or injury into my projection. These things were not impossible to foresee for those with the gift of prophecy.

Lauri's injury history isn't exactly clean himself, but AD is different. Davis is always injured with something.

Mavs are starting Brandon Williams or Ryan Nembhard at pg. Dwight Powell is also starting for them since their bigs are made of glass. They also have Caleb Martin and a couple guys you've never heard of getting time off the bench.

Nurk is rotation level lol. It doesn't matter how many great centers you have on the roster if none of them play. Their available roster on a nightly basis is worse than ours.

Appreciate the work you put in here... but if we are going to call Martin and Powell proven players then we can go ahead and loop in Svi and Niang. If the roster is ever close to 100% in Dallas then I agree they have a better overall roster... but their hole at PG is still a huge issue. I doubt AD plays more than 10 more games as a Maverick this season one way or another. Lively can't stay on the floor. I think PJ is also dinged up but not sure rn.

For us to benefit (and according to your post properly scar our young players for life) they will need to actually play. More Taylor/Cody/Brice minutes is 100% what I am advocating for and then the losing will come... or they will be too good to lose but if you are relying on your future contributors for that it isn't a bad thing necessarily.

We have played 5 "tank" or horrible teams... Dallas has played 9. Yet they still amassed a worse record. They are absolutely in the conversation with all the teams you named... and us.

Sure. My argument was that they are firmly in the mix of teams that suck along with us. Was told we didn't need to worry about them lol. I have priced in the fact that AD will not be there either through trade or injury management. I'm just saying star Nembhard didn't carry them to victory last night and they looked about as ****** as they did every time I watch them without AD.

TLDR - I don't know they will for sure be worse than us but they will be in the mix. They are only 1 of 7-8 teams we need to concern ourselves with.

We didn't talk AD on the pod... at least not that I remember. The point is that I clearly baked AD's high potential for not being on the court for the Mavs in my "Dallas is a problem" talk.

It was brief basically the same thing you said above. You said less than 10 games as a Maverick on December 4th. It is just semantics at this point tho.

I would tell you that Lauri sat a lot of those games to tank and you're crazy if you think they have the same injury risk.
