Nepo did a pretty good job tearing down the team. DA was not going to undo his own moves due to his own ego/greed, we all saw how slow he was during the half tank years. Young players got better, Key got a lot better, and Lauri returned to form. Could have been a little bit more reactive to the new situation and not be scared off by podcasters, but I'm pretty happy with how the team was constructed and the position we're in right now. The funniest thing about (allegedly) being the poster child for tanking is that this 4 year stretch is mostly the Jazz not tanking well or effectively enough. The half tank seasons were a direct result of DA being greedy and stubborn. This year it's more about player development and just a dash of pride/ego at the beginning.
