2025-2026 Tank Race Prediction Contest and Current Results Thread

MIL’s best plan of action is to try to win the lotto. If they win the lotto they can proceed with Giannis+Top4 rookie or trade the pick. If they don’t, just trade him in the summer. This year is a lost cause for them.

Crazy that ATL has the better of NOP/MIL….so they’d need two teams to hit the lotto I guess.
Very luckily for Milwaukee NOP is an absolute clown orgy. I don’t think they’re going to tank and I think all parties in the upcoming divorce are wanting to make the deal in the offseason (when the optionality and return package can improve substantially).

I’m not sure what is worse. The multiple teams ahead of the Hawks who turned down the deal or the fact that Dumars didn’t know what he was actually trading.

It's so bad that I don't think that the teams who declined knew what they were actually declining. It's also worth nothing that ATL ended up drafting the player they would have drafted at #13. Newell is looking good btw, might be a better player than Queen.

Portland and Chicago passing on that deal to do the stuff they did looks tragic. Just passed on an absolute gift.

I literally don’t remember who they drafted without looking.

EDIT: OH GOD NOA ESSENGUE

EDIT: the Portland non-trade might be the worst part of this whole thing. Traded out of Cedric Coward AND passed on the NOP super pick to draft Yang? Daaaaayumn that is… wow.

It's going to be an elite move 2 years from now when Yang develops
