NBA rumors: Grizzlies trying to make trade for run at Ty Jerome
The Grizzlies are looking to swing a trade ahead of the start of free agency so that they can make a run for Ty Jerome
Grizzlies trying to find a team to absorb Cole Anthony. Guessing it will be the Brooklyn Nets.
So if the Grizzlies cant dump Cole (and the price might be high since Brooklyn almost single handedly controls the dump market), then they may not be able to offer the full MLE to Jerome without feeling cap pressure due to the upcoming JJJ negotations and possibly retaining Aldama.
The other two teams linked to Jerome are Charlotte (just got Sexton, so probably out) and Warriors (do they have the full MLE?)

Wish it were us bringing him back. This is the perfect time to do so as a swan song for one of the Jazz's most beloved sons.

Here are three new free agents as of five minutes ago: Luka Garza, Josh Minott and Colby Jones. I doubt the Jazz would be interested in any of them.

If anything, I’m more bullish on keeping John Collins, who I think can be the kind of veteran leader this team needs to set the tone with guys like Cody, Key, Ace and Hendricks.
