A few of these teams will be dog water for a decade once their runs are over. A few of these teams will be dog water immediately but went in for some reason (Pelicans).

Think it will start crashing as soon as next year now that teams have real expectations. A team like POR is not a cute story if they barely miss the play in twice in a row. I think there will be a lot of shifting around and some teams will have to face the music and rebuild.

It’s unfortunate that we have this OKC pick hanging over our heads, but even if we didn’t I’d say that tanking hard this year and then starting to build up is ideal. Obviously you can expect to time things perfectly with how unpredictable things are, but anymore forward move just makes more sense next summer.

If it’s taking too long and you’re impatient, blame DA for stalling two years and forcing his son to clean up the mess.

He's one of those old school type of bigs that when they fall, they fall HARD. If I remember correctly he was called out in Phoenix for not being able to set basic screens. If you send him to Europe or China and let him cook in the low post, he can probably still get you 18/10. But yeah, he should’ve been out of the league a long time ago.
Nurk wasn't the issue in Phoenix, not by a long shot. Phoenix got even worse after he was traded.

He was very much part of the problem though. He was benched alongside Beal as that whole Phoenix mess unfold but everyone was only ******** on Beal.

If he could even do one of these basic things of a modern day NBA big like setting a screen or boxing out, I'm sure he wouldnt have been benched. But the reality is he even got benched by the ****ing Hornets.

Meh, I'm still not convinced that we are worse than the Pelicans. Portland isn't going anywhere either,
I am not trying to go for 13th in the conference. They will both be better than us through virtue of actually trying.
