2025 Free Agency Thread

Damn, nice for Milwaukee to preserve their draft capital, but I can't imagine what their tax bill is going to be. 5 more years of stretched Lillard
 
Lilliard is a great player but glad Jazz did not get stuck with his massive contract for next two years
 
I still don't quite understand the math and what the full deal is, but this is completely unexpected. I don't see how a contending team can live with 20+ million in dead money? Turner is a great fit for MIL though...
 
Maybe they try and do a one year tank. Kind of feels like Boston might try the same thing.

There needs to be a way to discourage one year tanking/picking up a top draft pick when your star player gets hurt. The top draft picks should be for rebuilding teams/teams without stars.

There have been proposals around winning percentages for several years being considered for lottery odds, or something around teams with top 5 MVP players not eligible for the top 3 picks.
