Ace is gonna be fine. I think this process and draft night are the gut punch he may have needed to get rid of some of the BS around him.

Actually he didn't go top 4. He was picked #5
True.. but i mean that's what their camp had wanted all along..
So i’m not sure what lessons he could have learnt..

Lesson #1: Why the Hell were you angling for New Orleans? That is one of the worst franchises in the NBA.

Rob Williams. Got his nickname Time Lord for his tendency to be late for everything.
My thoughts on the draft (non Jazz related):
- Demin at 8 was a huge surprise. I don't know why BKN followed it up by drafting 3 other guys that need the ball in their hands to be effective. I like Traore to BKN, but don't love him trying to play off ball if that's what they are thinking.
- If CMB was disappointed by going to Toronto I think it's understandable. I can't think of a much worse situation for him. No shooters on the team and everybody needs the ball. I still think/hope he's good enough to stand out and be worth the 9th pick.
- I'm super jealous of Atlanta getting that NOP pick. What is NOP thinking? I like Fears and Queen, that could be interesting, but should be pretty bad year 1.
- Sorber to OKC is interesting. Not sure he'll get much playing time next year, but seems like an obvious replacement for Hartenstein.
- Hansen Yang at 16! Really cool for him. I'm excited to see how that works out.
- Kas dropping and us not grabbing him is a gut punch. I think he could be such a great connective piece for us. I think he's going to kill it in MIA though.
- No Fleming in the first round is interesting. If he can play minutes at the 5, he's going to be a great piece for a team in the second round.
