VanVleet was a killer true point guard, Clayton is a smallish combo.

He was the leader for Florida. Made all the big shots. Was the alpha. Clayton could play off a PG like FVV did with Lowry, but I really think WCJ can lead a team.

The price to move up is the least of my worries tbh. Miami promised him at 20. We needed to jump them to get him. We must really like him.

Ya I guess so but not looking at it from the jazz perspective but rather from a fan perspective it looks like we could have probably had Kas for free (Miami takes Clayton.)
I mean on jazzfanz I hear about kas going #5 and absolutely zero talk at all ever about Clayton at either of our picks.
So from that perspective it looks like an overpay.
