You don’t draft for need unless the talent difference is minimal. Passing on a top prospect for need is a perfect example for a gm of what to do to lose your job. I think he passed on a couple prospects with high potential.

My main worry with Boyles is that his offensive positives revolve around being a hub and if he's just a guy out there he isn't that special.

I feel like if I knew CMB was an elite rebounder I'd buy more into his median outcome as a player

That’s not my point. Tre has defensive and playmaking chops. He was actually a good defender the first half of the season and it trailed off for whatever reason in the second half be it injuries which he mentioned in an interview or just fatigue, I don’t think he had the best team around him in a very good conference. He was his teams offense. He had to be stellar every game to win some of those games.

Somehow CMB managed to be his entire team's offense AND defense in the same conference as Tre Johnson, yet Tre Johnson is the clear cut #3 and CMB can't be considered at 6?

I think he's a situational player and Washington could be a perfect spot for him. If I believed more in Sarr I would really be in to that pairing.

I just rather take talent over a situation it should be a bigger priority for a rebuilding team like the wiz.

Never said you can’t have an opinion. I said that when logic only applies to one player and not others, it’s fan behavior. There’s no substance to that opinion.
