So, it will be a little bit of a standoff....but am I incorrect in saying that Beal is just going to say no to every single trade and get waived/bought out? If I'm him, I'm saying no to every deal and only giving back an amount of money that I can re-coup on a minimum contract. Then he can pretty much pick anywhere he wants to go on a minimum deal, get paid the same, and he won't damage his new team. In what scenario should Beal say "yes" to a trade where he could just get bought out and sign there anyways? PHX only counter to this behavior would be to send him home and pay him.

A good trade doesn’t have a loser.Pretty big return for a guy in his mid 30’s but I’m having a hard time trying to decide who won and lost this trade. I almost want to say they both won and lost lol
Dont think so. Durant was considered mid cost due to his age/contract where as I still think Utah is looking to make out like bandits on a Lauri deal. Now that the Durant trade is completed, I really wonder if Lauri becomes a priority for some of the teams that missed out.
Must be a real locker-room cancer. The Suns are gonna buy out $110m?! I don’t believe that
Still insane to think Beal got a max and a no-trade clause. Probably one of the worst contracts given in NBA history.
