2025 Off-Season Trade Ideas Thread

I thought Tony proclaimed that basically everyone is for sale but the price tag on Lauri and Walker remains high.

In that case Walker should cost the same or more than whatever pick gets you Maluach just for being NBA-proof elite rim protector and rebounder.
I think that would be the type of situation that might lead to Walker getting moved. If Edey had slipped to us last year I think they may have moved Walker. Say they acquire a pick late in the lotto and can get Maluach or Beringer (if they like him) or maybe even like Sorber... then I think they are more likely to take an offer from the Lakers (i think they are the only team that will pay what we would request).

Sounds like the KD deal will be Houston, Miami, or Minnesota. If it is Miami I am sure the picks they get there would potentially be re-routed to a third team for win-now players because Miami's matching salary guys aren't very helpful.

Minnesota still will need some help to do a deal and I am not sure where it comes from. I am rooting for them though if the deal includes Rudy. Those picks would get a lot juicier.

Would guess it's like

Wiggins
Scary Terry
20
Ware

For KD?

And then they try to package 20 and Scary Terry for cap relief.

Maybe the Heat send Jovic and another pick too.

Ware will be untouchable in the deal. It will be like Terry and Robinson plus a couple picks and Jovic/Jaquez

Yeah, I'm like the biggest KD hater there is and this is nowhere close to enough. Ware has to be in the deal.
Just telling you how that will go. I already saw reports of them saying Ware was untouchable.

Vassell, Sochan, and #14 seemed to be the Spurs offer... Houston seems to be #10, Jabari, Green

The offers don't seem amazing. I like the Houston offer the most.

Wonder what the Spurs will do with #2 if they're not in on KD anymore.
Why do people keep seriously thinking that the Spurs will trade their 2nd pick in a very deep draft (which normally would be the 1st pick) for a win-now older player? I mean, how often such a trade for the top 3 pick happened in the NBA? Besides Wiggins? It is an extremely rare occurrence and the Spurs specifically have never done anything like that.
