It was clear when SGA was with LAC that he was going to be really good, but I never would have guessed he'd ever be MVP good.

Gobert also has another 3 years and $110M on his contract. That isn't going to be easy to move. Meanwhile, both Randle and Naz Reid can opt out for next season. Conley is also aging out. The Twolves are going to need to make a solid move or two. I guess we'll get to see if Rob Dillingham becomes a savior for them.

This next draft pick (#17 this year) is pretty important for them.

Which is why the trade was dumb. Their window was open now. They should’ve bitten the bullet and paid whatever was necessary to keep last year’s team together and go for broke this year.
 
I’m old enough to remember when Memphis was one of the top young up and coming teams. Ja looked like Drose 2.0, everything SGA actually is. And then they had some injuries, Ja went crazy, and they fired their coach.

Character matters. Had Ja focused on his game with half the energy he’s focused on guns and his social media profile, he might actually be able to lead a team.
 
Acquiring Aaron Gordon was such a good trade for DEN…I wonder where they’d be without him. They wouldn’t have a ring, that’s for sure.
