2025 Utah Jazz All-Time Bad Draft

I have to draft a pg and my options are some old players that most of us have never seen, a current player who was bad, but I actually like, and players who have been drafted in the best jazz players of all time draft.

I guess I'll go with a bit of NBA history and select Duck Williams.

WIth a nickname like Duck, you would think there would be more about this guy, but basically all I can find is that he played for Notre Dame, was selected in the 5th round of the draft, played 23mpg for the Jazz in 1979. Scored 6.6pts, 2.4ast in those 23 minutes, and then was out of the league. In his one season he had a net rating of -20 and a BPM of -4.0.

More rule suggestions for future drafts that most will hate, but I think would be fun:

- Every team has to have a current NBA player. Someone who played or is currently playing for the Jazz and was on an NBA roster as of the previous season.
- Every team has to have one player that most posters have never seen. In other words a guy who played pre 90's. I know Cy is kind of trying to avoid this, but it was actually kind of fun to look at the list of players who met the minutes criteria and look up guys I've never heard of or never saw play.

- 700 minutes is kind of a random minutes criteria, but looking at the list, this is what I would recommend.

Thoughts on running this for an all-NBA Crap Team? Change the minimum minutes played maybe.
I don’t hate the minimum minutes played rule overall, but I could see adding an exception so you could take one player for each team that is under the 1,000 minutes rule - no minimum for that one guy on each team. Opens up a wide range of possible teams.
