Jarron Collins played in 481 regular season Jazz games, and 25 playoff games. Good for 11th all-time games played for the jazz, ahead of Milsap, Okur, Harpring and Hornaceck.

Prior to the 1994-95 season the Atlanta Hawks traded Keefe to the Utah Jazz for Tyrone Corbin

The 2003-04 season, was the first without Stockton and Malone. Matt Harpring was named team captain by coach Jerry Sloan. Harpring's season ended suddenly with a knee injury that required surgery to repair. In 31 games, he averaged 16.2 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. At the time of his injury, he was Utah's leading scorer.

the jazz signed jason terry (#31) to an offer sheet, but the offer was matched by atlanta, so terry never came to utah.

scott pollard (#31) grew up in the salt lake area and attended murray high school.

walt palmer wore #31 when he played for the mavericks in 1993.

the jazz's 1996 draft pick was martin muursep. they immediately traded him to miami, where he wore #31, in exchange for the 2000 draft pick they would ultimately use on deshawn stevenson, who once knocked over ricky davis (#31) after he tried to create a triple double against the jazz by rebounding a miss off his own basket.

they then parlayed stevenson into gordan giricek in a 2007 trade. giricek averaged 3.1 free throw attempts for the jazz that season.

I bolded the best part of what is (so far) the best post of the thread.

Nerd, that was incredible.

I had forgotten the Deshawn knock down. It was totally Jerry, I thought that move plus his increasing ability to hit an outside jumper and play D would keep DeShawn on the Jazz. I was supprised when he was traded for Gordan.

"He was trying to embarrass us, and that's not how the game should be played," Sloan said.

"This is not schoolyard basketball," the Utah coach said. "Let him try to get it when the game means something. I was proud of DeShawn and I would have knocked him down harder. They can put me in jail for saying that, but that's the way it is."

Jazz were beaten by 27 points that night, Matt Harpring led the Jazz in scoring (20) and Rebounds (8). More notably Mark Jackson passed Magic Johnson on the all time assist list.

Mark Jackson of the Jazz overtook Magic Johnson for second place on the NBA's career assists list. Jackson set up a 22-foot baseline jumper by Calbert Cheaney with 8:35 remaining for his 10,142nd assist and fifth of the game.

"It would have been much nicer in a blowout win," Jackson said. "It's special to me, obviously. It is truly an honor."

Jackson received a standing ovation when he was replaced 11 seconds later by all-time leader John Stockton, who finished with nine assists and raised his career total to 15,671.

The Jazz had 31 assists in the game.

I mean you're the only Turkish poster I remember seeing in these countdown threads and therefore would be the one to point out the slang meaning of 31 in Turkish.

OK, for a moment, I thought you were taking revenge for my mare bloomer.

31. It's a slang for wanking in turkish.

Way to go bro.

Ostertag>Duncan isn't here for a long time and he doesn't post much since I made the sig, so I'm putting you back to the list.

Hey why am I not on that list? I thought you liked me writing man!

Well I wouldn't miss it after I saw some of us has lighted the fire. You wouldn't believe how many topics turn around the concept of "31" in Turkey. We are a country full of a bunch of adolescents that does not mercy anything that breathes!

Lol, lol, lol. :) Thankfully I was raised by a "dergah" (some kind of congregation).

Before you got here back (fully), it would seem like backing since you're my countryman. But since you're now frequently posting, I'll be looking for someone to kick out of my list. But the thing is, it's just easier said than done. But I'm looking for upgrading my signature format, if I could do that I'll be able to have more people on my list so it will be easier.

But I follow you on the sourtimes, whenever I read it, practically every day.

Put me somewhere between PKM and TroutBum =))) Seriously though, no hard feelings. I understand that I was a quitter for a while. But I have time now. But it's life you can't know what's to come, so I'm OK anyways. Just keep the touch -irtibatı koparmayalım reyiz ;)

Btw, sorry for off topic, folks.

I think you might have the wrong Pollard. Scot was born in Murray but moved Orem when he was 5 years old and live there Until the age of 12 when he moved to San Diego where he went to high school. He was in scouts and in my ward in Orem until he moved and I played a lot of basketball with him and his older brothers. He had older brothers that did go to Murray High though.
