97-98 jazz in 2k11

Just played a few games as the Jazz.

-Hayward > Bell (in the game at least)
-Bell sucks. He doesn't guard anyone, and he can't hit a shot
-Big Al is a force down low
-even though the Jazz two toned court is wrong, it still looks great
-the crowd is still terrible
- the game is much harder than years past, its hard to score inside
- the faces are still bad but improved
- Fes is not on the Jazz roster
- Miles is making his 3s! (Memo is not)

Overall the game is a step up from years past. Somethings are good, but still over the top. The AIs defense and steals are over done. It's good to see them play such good defense,
but it's fake. It's too good in some cases.
 
Still waiting to see if I want it on PS3 or PC. I would really like some good mods to fix the jazz court and the generic players on the classic teams.

Hayward is money in this game lol and you are right Big Al is a beast. Memo has never been done good in 2k games and this is no exception.

I also noticed Hornacek really sucks, it's unfortunate.

Fes is on the roster, at least of the ps3 version. Jeremy Evans is in it and he's fun to use cause he's super athletic.

They made getting steals better, if you play solid defense you or your teammate will steal the ball, but at the same time they made it more difficult on offense cause the defense reacts a lot quicker to passes. I guess they were trying to even it out a little bit.

If you get PC, make sure you have a decent graphics card else the graphics will be very sub par
 
Generally speaking, if a player seems to suck and can't make a shot, it's likely that you aren't releasing at the correct time with that player. A nice thing with NBA 2k11 is that you can go into practice with any given player. When you shoot, a little graphic will appear telling you whether your shot was released on time, too early, or too late. Give it a try if you are having trouble shooting with a particular player.
 
This game is beyond good. When people say its a step up from last year must not have played last years much. This game blows last years out of the water, from gameplay, to gameflow, to over all presentation.

This game owns any other basketball...maybe sports game, ever.
 
Fes is in the game, but by default he's not on the active roster because he's the lowest rated Jazzman on the roster as it is now. Once the roster updates start coming out, that'll probably change, and Watson and Thompson will be added as well.
 
I dominate with Okur every year, idk what yall are talking about. I either hit him with the trailing 3, or do a pick and pop three with him. Both are nearly unstoppable at times.
 
Just a quick note to everyone.

DON'T USE THE SIMULATION GAME SLIDERS!!!

They are absolutely horrible. Makes it so bigmen take 80% of the shots and ups the fouls so teams shoot 50+ FT a game.
 
For those of usonly interested in the ridiculous: AK and Okur are fantastic together in NBA Jam. Deron Williams is oddly anemic.
