I'm super tired lol. Baby has done great. Wife has had a really really hard time. Throwing up, dizzy, hot, cold, panic attacks, unable to feed baby.

So I have basically been doing everything from feeding, burping, diaper changes, swaddling, trying to comfort when she cries, taking care of mommy, entertaining visitors, keeping everyone updated..... I'm dead tired yet have no idea when I will sleep. Have not eaten since like 9:30 am.

Hopefully tomorrow will go better.

Congrats! Hope your wife is OK. Having family come to help is not at all a bad idea.

As others have said, prepare to have your world rocked. One thing that was particularly amazing to me was how fast and how deep the bond between dad & child can form. I remember holding our first baby on day 1, being astounded to realize that I was prepared to do literally anything to protect that child.

You keep referring it to her as baby. When does that change to Franklin? Perfect girl's name.

It was 12 months for my kids to start sleeping through the night.

I wonder if that's due to the c section? Being squeezed out of a whole the size of a lemon tends to make newborn babies funky looking.
