A Mitt Romney and Condoleeza Rice ticket?

Well, I'm 49, so still about ten years too young to have experienced the environment of the Black Panther Party in any significant way, but old to some people. I am curious why you think you know how light my skin may or may not be.I think, when you are a person of privilege, it's very natural to to see a response to racism as being racist, rather than corrective.

It's good to hate me sometimes. Keeps me sharp.

For the same reason you profess to know my skin tone.

You should be uncomfortable with such an assertion. I'm uncomfortable with such an assertion. I don't recall making tht assertion. Could you point it out?

However, feel free to treat me like an *** if you want, regardless of motive. It will not bother me at all.

My motive will only be if the shoe fits.

My motive will only be if the shoe fits.

I accept that you earnestly mean this. I want to be clear: throughout this discussion, I have assumed that you feel you are being fair, impartial, and not racist in the slightest. I have no ill thoughts of you as a person.

Then we are all good.

After Obama's acceptance speech promising all this change I think the majority of the country was rallying around him. I thought that speech was amazing. The problem is that the change never came.

Yes, I agree there has been instances in about every presidency where the majority rallied... Bush for a time post 9/11 (possibly), the acceptance speech, Osama (possibly). But can't remember the last time I felt that the president had the nation's support for a prolonged period of time.

Osama he says.

Your words are soaked in the privilege of those with lighter skin.

I have to admit that this made me laugh. I experienced rascism and discrimination first hand. I have been assaulted, beaten, denied service, spit on, insulted, denied membership and other similar things on a continuing on going basis. So I do have a day to day knowledge of how it feels.

Osama he says.

Either you missed that he meant Osama as in Bin Laden or you mean that he was not kille dunder Bush. Either way Bush did get support because of Bin Laden. Bush was able to put a face to the enemy and that lead to support. It was a firm goal.

Let's get real about racism. Anyone focused on their race like it is the first and foremost thing that matters in life is a racist and spits in the face of MLK jr. and his dream.

The following are racist:

The congressional black caucus
NAACP
La Raza
BET
Any black who calls another black person an "uncle tom"
Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Rev. Wright...exclusive black churches
Obama(white cop, white grandma comments) & his justice department (won't prosecute racism by blacks and other minorities)

Liberals have won blacks to their party by handing out government goodies and making them as dependent on government as they were on plantation masters.
Newt explained the Conservative perspective perfectly in the last debate, “I believe every American of every background has been endowed by their creator with the right to pursue happiness. And if that makes liberals unhappy, I'm going to continue to find ways to help poor people learn how to get a job, learn how to get a better job and learn some day to own the job.”

As for Obama being the Food Stamp President:

Newt explains, “The fact is that more people have been put on food stamps by Barack Obama than any president in American history. I know among the politically correct, you're not supposed to use facts that are uncomfortable.”

As for a VP pick by the Republican candidate. They could very well pull a McCain and pick someone no one ever expected.

I like how people equate "getting real" about something means get with their opinion. I am neither agreeing or disagreeing with Millsapa. Just an observation.

Feel free to correct me, then. What were the circumstances?
