Google is playing ball with the Deep State. Whether they're liberal in orientation or not, they're still playing the autocratic card, as you probably would agree, just from the other side of the fence.

If you like the phrase "Deep State” and believe in it, that’s fine. It’s also one of Trump’s favorite buzz phrases. I prefer the more benign “establishment” as it’s more accurate and in line with my own views. Deep State means a sinister shadow government that operates behind the scenes, essentially making our democracy a sham, whereas establishment conveys a less conspiratorial view that those in power, whether they be politicians or bureaucrats, use their power to perpetuate the status quo: a corporate based economy with a neoconservative or interventionist foreign policy.
