A Place for Conservatives

In other words, kicky thinks it's fine that heathme has a different perspective on the world. He just wants to shame heathme for not having the same perspective he has.

No. I think it's beyond ridiculous that he's taking the identify of being a repressed political minority this seriously.

It's his orientation to conservative powerlessness (in an era where they control 2.5 of the three branches of government and have absolute veto power on everything) that is impossible to take seriously. I have said not one word about any of the conservative content or links in this little bubble.

In fairness, I'm not sure his worldview makes sense if he's not a victim in it.

I don't think he has characterized conservatives as powerless at all. Where has he said that? He has suggested that the media is overwhelmingly liberal. I think he is correct. Given that you are liberal I think you would have a complaint if the media had an overwhelmingly conservative bias. Imagine if Fox was purported to be mainstream. You would be having a conniption and rightly so, because they are obviously biased. (Just as obviously biased as CNN, NYT, NBC, etc., only in the opposite direction.)

Only liberals don't see obvious liberal bias in the media.

Science vs. #Science - good article.
https://townhall.com/columnists/kur...cause-all-conservatives-hate-science-n2546714

"Liberals sure love #Science, but like all conservatives I just hate #Science so very, very much. Did you know that 97% of #Science-people, who clearly love #Science, agree that the global warming climate crisis means we have to immediately give the liberal elite a bunch of our money and freedom because of #Science? Well, we do – and as of a couple of months ago, noted #Scientist AOC informed us that we have exactly 12 years to do it. Okay, 11 years, ten months. Tick tock!

Do you realize we are already giving a bunch of money to the people who deny science, lifting regulations against the polluters, allowing fossil fuel producers to frack for oil, allowing investors to encroach on formerly protected land, allowing business as usual and continued profits for those who deny we have a climate crisis?
