A trade idea

I am not in love with this trade but it is interesting.

Jazz trade al Jefferson and raja bell to Philly for Andre iguadala and maurice speights.

Why Philly does it -

They get rid of iggy and that seems to be something they try to do a lot. The do get a ver interesting pairing of Elton brand (who is playing some basketball again) and al Jefferson. The could start holiday, bell, turner, brand, Jefferson. Then have Lou Williams, Jodi Meeks, Thad young, and Spencer hawed come off the bench. That is a very solid rotation top to bottom good trade for Philly.

Why the jazz do it -

They get their elite wing player they have always wanted. Granted the contract is 1 more year then we would want. Speights is n interesting big man that would give us a young but extremely talented front lines. No to mention that we get rid of bell. The only serious negative that I have see is jazz are rebuilding can iggy fit into the rebuild?

Rotation

Harris, fa resign (preferably Watson), burks

Iggy or Hayward, burks

Iggy or Hayward, miles

Millsap (until one of the young guns is ready), speights

Favors or kanter or okur (who ever wins the job in camp)

Okur and miles are gone after this season to make room for the players coming in from the next draft.

You assume there will be an NBA... ; ;

Iggy is someone who could help complete a contending team, not a rebuilding team. And when it comes to making trades with Philly, Holiday is definitely the guy we would be going after, not Iguodala. In fact, Holiday is one of the only great, up and coming PG's we might actually have a shot at trading for, cause obviously guys like Rose and Wall are untouchable.

To get Holiday I expect we would have to give up Kanter or Favors.

We dont need a top level pg anymore, since we wont be able to afford it anyway. But a guy like brandon knight or holiday would be good

This is one of the better trade ideas thats been posted because its realistic. Jazz have had Iggy in the trade talks for a couple of years. I also like it because its controversial. If this trade was executed, I feel we would be getting an excellent piece at the shooting guard position which we havent had since the days of Hornacek. However It would be hard loosing a guy like Big Al in hopes that we could regain his talent throught an Enes Kanter that this league (including the Jazz) knows so little about, or D-Fave. But If it was on the table, I would be able to hold myself back from pulling the trigger on this one.

Actually i want Granger he is my number one target and the player that i think solves a huge piece of the puzzle but i dont see then taking Millsap and Miles for granger. If we offer big Al and bell i dont see getting a good big man back like SPeights. that is why i went with the Philly trade.
