Griffin is good, and has the potential to be a HOF player, but lets give him 10 years first.

You are exactly right. After all this is why the Jazz kept Adam Keefe on the team for so long. The man was a living legend.
Yes, there needs to be some amount of talent and athleticism to be able to compete, thank you... that is a given. So why was Keefe not HOF material, and yet Stockton was? Was it because Stockton could jump over people and dunk on them, while Keefe couldn't?
While there needs to be a minimum amount of physical requirements, to be an all-time great you need these other things I was talking about. How many great "talents" have flamed out and done nothing for one reason or another?
