I think of it this way. Maybe these people are "de-activating" their account so they can attend their own funeral and see who misses them and who doesn't. Ya know.... Huck Finn style.

Personally, I would suggest you do this, and come back with a more sympathetic handle. . . . . . like JTripper or something. . . .
