What's new

Ahoy Matey! Stay the course.

Agreed. Marvin is forcing Corbin's hand. I'd say he should have changed things five days ago but with the pg position being what it is, I think Corbin has wanted to run more Burks, Carroll, & Hayward, which means Marvin is going to start. Let's see what happens next week.

They'll take a couple games to work Mo back into things. Conditioning shouldn't be much of an issue since it was only his hand, but he still won't be in game shape for at least a couple.

I would imagine that is what they will do but once he does get back into full swing I am looking at how that affects Burks and Watson. The choice is clear to me but is it to Ty?

Do people not understand Foye and Williams have proven themselves in the league? Carrol was a D league scrub. Granted Foye is in a slump and Williams has been terrible this year, but they had at least proven they could funtion at an NBA level.

Why is everyone talking about 'fair" like this is JR High girls ultimate frisbee?

You're joking right?

That's why I've offered to bet anyone from the Corbin Hate Crew. After 5 games, the three point guards won't average over 38 minutes. Mo should get 30-32 or more, so there shouldn't be much Earl or Tinsley at all.

In fact, I think Earl will be cut out entirely. Tinsley is coming off the bench right now to keep the rotation constant. Mo will take all of Earl's minutes and then some, and Tinsley might not get off the bench if Burks-Hay-Carroll-Foye can keep things together. Corbin drew us the map last night.

I'm hoping that the last few games have opened his eyes. I won't take that bet. Not a fan of Ty as our coach though.

Yes, because the Jazz obviously didn't bring in Foye to start. Grizz didn't give him an offer that he refused.

"Ken Berger: The Mavs, Rockets, Knicks, Hawks, Suns and Bucks have registered interest in free-agent guard Randy Foye, league source says. Twitter"

Yeah, definitely joking.

I never said anything about Foye. I like Foye. Ive been bagging on Marvin and Watson.

Thanks for playing though.

Carrol was not better than them last year, Foye does not suck, he is sucking right now, but he does not suck, Williams has sucked for awhile, he needs to see a shrink or something. Carrol was an ok D league call up last year, Foye and Williams played meaningful minutes for good NBA teams last year. Lets be realistic here. Carrol has earned his minutes, but I dont think he would necessarily play better with the starters. Wouldn't get the ball, they don't run as much as the 2nd unit, etc .... Foye deserves to play, he just needs to break out of this funk.

Where in my post did i say foye sucks? or marvin for that matter? I said that they are not very good players and i think that is true of both of them. Sure foye is better than marvin but he is not very good.

Mo won't be enough to help anyways. His chucking style will just be another problem. Mo coming back doesn't get rid of Marvin either.

There in lies the problem...... hoping the last few games have opened his eyes. It would be nice if he would open his eyes alot sooner.

The funny thing is that corbin might eventually cut thier minutes and then the apologists will say "see he did what you all wanted, are you happy now."

And that is the main problem with corbin..... we all knew cj, howard, and bell should not have been getting minutes last year and the minutes should have went to burks, hayward, and carroll.

We all knew that tinsley was better than watson (albeit only a little better)

We all wanted millsap to play the 3 last year early in the season

We all wanted carroll, millsap, and hayward to be taking marvins minutes a long time ago.

We all wanted burks to play instead of our crappy geriatric point guards long ago.

We all want kanter and favors to get increased minutes.

Some of these things corbin figures out eventually but it always take him longer than the rest of us to do it. Or injuries force him too.

Those players shouldn't have even been on the team... Thanks KOC for handcuffing our team again!!!!! Maybe we can use our cap room to bring in Dwight!!!

Every team has players like bell, watson, howard, cj, etc etc..... the difference is that on our team those types are starters (bell, howard, marvin) or first off the bench types (cj, watson).
On other teams those type of players are at the very end of the bench.

Hahaha. How dare KOC try to find players that work for Utah. How dare he bring in 3 pt shooters and hustle players! OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!

Im glad Corbin thinks its better to keep rotations constant, than winning games in the middle of a tight playoff race.

Brilliant strategy

Yeah it would be nice. But we all know that no matter how much we yell and scream that Ty is the Jazz coach. Just Utah's MO and part of why I like them. Loyalty. So I will continue to hope and take the improvements as they come. I will also continue to poitn out where improvement can be had and hate the slow progress.

HOw dare Corbin play those players. LOL goes both ways bro!

Apples and Oranges man. If you want my position on Corbin then go look it up. But we were not talking about Corbin now were we?

We got Marvin for Devin. Now we KNEW Devin was not the answer so why not take a shot on Marvin? It didn't work out like we hoped and that sucks. I am glad Tinsley is one the team. He will be a great back up PG. KOC brought us Carroll, Favors, Kanter, Burks, Hayward, Millsap...he also brought us Harris, Jefferson, Howard, Marvin...

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Your mindless hatred of KOC is on a level with Dutch's mindless hatred of Big Al.

When you want to be intellectually honest then we can have a legit discussion. Until then expect to have your posts mocked and treated with disdain.
