Yep. Remember when Larry H. said he wasn't a max player now, but would be? That was the day he signed his big deal. After that he stopped improving and just coasted on his athletic ability. That fades quickly with age and injuries. I doubt Rudy is going to do the same. He was fire AK never had.

the excitment for AK in 2004 reminds me of the excitement we have for Gobert today. I enjoyed watching him as much as anyone in the league back then -the AK l loved to watch retired many years ago.

Some guys seem to lose their interest and passion for the game prematurely. AK looks like one. Keith Van Horn was a classic, hard to believe he was so good and then gone so young. Need to find guys that are just obsessed with the game, gym rats.
