What's new

Al Jefferson is heading to Charlotte on three-year deal $41 million

Bobcats have a lot of bigs on the roster now, not that I know the exact contract situation or the interest of them leaving or staying of all of them.

Bismack Biyombo C
DeSagana Diop (FA) C
Josh McRoberts (FA) F
Byron Mullens (FA) F-C
Tyrus Thomas F
Cody Zeller C

The only one that might be available that I would like to see on the Jazz is Byron Mullens, the few games he played against the Jazz he seemed to have a nice jump shot and can play both the 4 & 5.

Lol, DeSagana Diop. Probably the worst big in the Nba

Tyrus Thomas was amnestied to make room for Al Jefferson.

Man that guy sucks and got worse and worse every year.

Ah didn't realize that, thanks. Also yes he never even came close to living up to his hype or his draft pick#. Bet the Bulls wish they kept Aldridge and not traded/swapped picks with Portland for Thomas.

Ya they purposely let go of McRoberts & Mullens so they did not extend the qualifying offer to them.

Diop won't be back for sure.

So really they will have Jefferson, Bismack Biyombo, Haywood, & Cody Zeller now. Not a bad rotation for how horrible they were last year lol.

2 years guaranteed. Bobcats this year, the name changes to Hornets the next year.

Aw, then clever post. I admit I was thinking Brooklyn...what does Brooklyn have to do with this? So 3 years at $41M isn't exactly what Al had expected. And no opportunity really for a S&T. But FANTASTIC that Charlotte has now used up a chunk of their cap space. Keep spending, teams, KEEP SPENDING!

Al shows you his priorities signing with the lolcats. Al and Cody Zeller on defense will be giving up 120 points a night.

This is great news! No more watching him have the ball doing shot fakes for most of the shot clock while the rest of the team stands around watching. Even if the Jazz have a poor record next season, they should at least be more entertaining to watch.
