There is a difference between mental and physical addiction. Quitting alcohol when your an addict can have severe PHYSICAL symptoms. You being addicted to the Jazz is all in your head and much easier to overcome.
My point (which spurred all this) is that some people are born with alcoholic genes "turned on" by ancestors. They are in essence making chemicals that make them want alcohol more than the average person. What Dutch "weak mind" Jazzer fails to realize is that someone with this bigger nagging force may be much stronger willed than someone who is free of the affliction, but may still succumb/relapse. Who is someone without the chemical issues to judge the frailty of another who does? Please give me the blueprints to your mind-strength meter if you can do it.
