He just seems very distant all the time.

LOL- no it hasn't. If anything Utah's reputation has taken a step back with the Kanter fiasco. Yeah, it's been well documented that Kanter is a big baby but when it comes to issues between players and management, the players are going to side or at least empathize with the player 99% of the time. In spite of the source, when a player comes out and demands a trade and says he was never happy somewhere, then, like it or not, it resonates around the league.

Watching the videos of him working on his shot, to me it looks like his form has not changed much.
I think mostly he is just seeing his feet better and being more balanced, and also putting more arc on his shot. Nothing drastic

Good post, I'm very excited about Burks return. You can tell he is hungry to play and really wants to play well next season. When his shooting % from the rim was brought up Burks was almost upset at the questions, he was like...dude WTF, I am playing on one arm.
I think a full offseason to get worked into Quins system will be really helpful for him too. I really like that he is trying to slow the game down and read the defense instead of just attacking. If he can read defenses and attack from that he could be our explosive playmaker

I'm really excited about the return of Burks. The fact that him and Hood can compete against each other is going to be awesome. They will push each other to be better, because you know they both want to be the starter. I know both are humble though, and would come of the bench if asked. Can you imagine if Burks makes a Jimmy Butler type improvement next year?

Except in this case you have multiple players calling him out while the FO stays mum. If it was the FO and Kanter going at it I'd be more inclined to agree.
But when it is Booker, Gobert, Ingles, Hayward, Burke and Favors going at him...
While what you are saying is generally true, I believe in this case it is not. Everyone in the world can see how hap[y the other guys are and how the Jazz improved without Kanter. As someone else said, it is the players, not the FO who are calling him out. They are all raving about the team, and everyone who has the potential to leave has said they want to stay.
NBA Teams and players are not blind. OKC hopes to be able to get some good value out of Kanter, but who here believes they are going to give him the big contract he wants? If he is still there in the future, it will be at a lower salary than he thinks he is worth My bet is he goes somewhere else, also for less than he thinks he is worth.
This "fiasco" hurt him much worse than it did the Jazz.
The Burks interview during the Houston game was interesting, especially when he talked about how much he felt he learned by observing and being so involved with the coaches most of the season. He made it sound like being injured could become a blessing in disguise. That makes me excited.
It possibly might be. Gives him an extended training plan starting with basics under Snyder's team. Fromt he sounds of it this rehab is more than just healing from his injury. It is retrainign him on bad habits as well. Foot work, shot technique and speed have all been specifically mentioned as having been tweaked in training and rehab.
