Risky? How so?
It's fine in practice but in a game instincts will take over, and could be shooting a hybrid of the forms.
We'll have to see how much he changed it, old habits die hard.

I swear Burks has autism.
LOL .. what??
Speech impediment may be, but not autism....
He just seems very distant all the time.
He talks funny too. He is like a black Boomhauer.
I'm tired of this myth, Utah is gaining a good reputation I think around the league of being an organization that takes good care of it's players and has a solid plan for the future.
Watching the videos of him working on his shot, to me it looks like his form has not changed much.So Burks changed his entire shot and release? That is a little risky but guess with 9 months off he has the time to do something drastic like that.
LOL- no it hasn't. If anything Utah's reputation has taken a step back with the Kanter fiasco. Yeah, it's been well documented that Kanter is a big baby but when it comes to issues between players and management, the players are going to side or at least empathize with the player 99% of the time. In spite of the source, when a player comes out and demands a trade and says he was never happy somewhere, then, like it or not, it resonates around the league.

The Burks interview during the Houston game was interesting, especially when he talked about how much he felt he learned by observing and being so involved with the coaches most of the season. He made it sound like being injured could become a blessing in disguise. That makes me excited.
