I don't deny that there is or has been a race problem for non white people. I just don't think that the right way to fight it is with racism against white people. Its horrendously ignorant. Show me the racists and the racist policies and we can fight them together. Sorry, Donald Trump doesn't qualify for that until he actually says something that is factually racist.
What are the racist things people are doing against white people that are a problem or hurting them? Calling someone a racist isnt racism, are there real facts(not anecdotal evidence) you can provide of racism against white people?
As far as Trump goes there are plenty of examples of things he has said that are racist. I dont really care to repeat all of them. Take 10 seconds and google racist comments trump has made. Those are not as big of an issue of policies that may or may not happen that we need to hold him accountable for.
Some that are a concern for me are repealing Obama care is going to unfairly hurt the black community. But that is a wait and see what actually happens and if they put a decent plan in place. Obama care has its flaws but it is better than what we had and needs to be expanded into something better.
Trump has put people into office that have a well documented history of being racists.
In one of first Trump admin. orders, Dept of Housing & Urban Dev. suspends reduction of FHA annual mortgage insurance premium rates
This ones concerning and the only one who benefits from this is the home mortgage companies insuring mortgage for people that do not own 20% of their home. This is not inherently racist but again targets black people at a higher percentage than white people.
He has a long list of executive orders that he plans to sign. Many of which are rumored to be ones that will hurt the black and LGBT communities but we will have to wait and see what he actually does. He has said he will remove all of Obama's executive order which a ton of them were helping minorities. I dont think people realize how many executive orders he put in to help the LGBT and black communities.
FIRST, cancel every unconstitutional executive action, memorandum and order issued by President Obama
THIRD, cancel all federal funding to Sanctuary Cities
He plans to continue and expand Obama's policy of targeting criminal immigrants and deporting them. It sounds nice but it was not for non white immigrants. It also unfairly targeted some good citizens that were sent back to countries they had never lived in and had no family in.
I am concerned he will follow keep in line with the Republican part platform that he has said he supports that has a lot of things that hurt the LGBT community but that is not racist stuff.
FIFTH, suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people coming into our country will be considered extreme vetting.
Targeting people because of their race and religion is a racist policy. Those are the countries that need immigration the most.
School Choice And Education Opportunity Act. Redirects education dollars to give parents the right to send their kid to the public, private, charter, magnet, religious or home school of their choice. Ends common core, brings education supervision to local communities. It expands vocational and technical education, and make 2 and 4-year college more affordable.
This idea has been proven to hurt black communities in our country.
His tax policy has wording that could potentially end welfare which is benefiting black people far more than white people. Reforms need to be made to all of it but that does not mean it should be taken away from people who really need it. Escaping poverty is a very difficult process for many people and especially for someone that is black.
Most of these are just guesses and concerns right now. Some might not end up bad but they are still things to keep an eye on.
There are just a lot of guesses about what he will do based on what he has said. Trump is not my biggest concern for racism. Most of the problems we have in this country are due to policies. Things such as hiring, treatment, arresting and lots of other stuff are not dealing with a policy Trump may or may not make but on people themselves and us as a country.
