It is akin to something like you move into a new neighborhood. You're outside one day meeting a new neighbor. He's filling you in on the goings on, and kind of in passing says "hey and don't mind all the crap you'll hear about John down the street. They proved he wasn't a child molester. That was all completely false." so now what do you immediately think about John, even if the allegations are legitimately completely false? Yep. He's a child molester.

Same general concept. Just saying something will set the thought in people's minds.

Think "binders of women". I think Romney's record shows nothing but respect for women and women's rights (aside from the standard Republican rebuttal of abortion which is arguably about women's rights), yet after that comment and meme all anyone could think of the guy is he kept women in binders, marginalized them, didn't respect them. Poor choice of words by Romney? Sure. Proof of full on misogyny? Hardly. But that can be enough to strongly sway public opinion.

So to me the comments about the MLK bust are much more egregious than any comments made by the media about crowd sizes.

No there is not. There are thousands or more issues that people are on the left or right of. If you add them up people are somewhere along a very big spectrum. You can make up where you want to draw a line and call people left or right but its silly.



So you heard it somewhere by one person and you know think everyone who is in this arbitrary "left" thinks that and you are fighting against everyone. That is a silly fight.



I am not bashing on the right. I have bashed on the republican party for very specific things in their official platform. I have bashed on Fox News and CNN. None of those are bashing on the "right."

Neither Fox News or CNN is reporting fake news. I think you think anything being reported that is not completely true or ends up not being true is fake news. That is not correct.



I disagree with that statement. It is a fact that minorities, women and other groups are being mistreated in this country. I have shown many facts on here (that you always run away from) that show. The "left" is not creating the problem they are bringing these issues to light and people are standing up for it. This makes people uncomfortable and defensive. That is unfortunate and is no way to resolve it. I do believe some people are too aggressive in bringing light to these issues and it hurts the cause sometimes. But the reason that is a problem is again because there are very sensitive people getting their feelings hurt. Sadly people use and take the word racist as an insult when it is not. People do racist things, that does not make them a bad person. It simply means that culture and other things have caused them to look at race issues wrong and seeing it and fixing it is the best result. Although there are some of the bad racist people but those are a minority in this country.

Its fine if you want to ignore the race issue and pretend like white people are under attack and have it hard now but there is no real evidence to support systemic racism against white people that has ill effect on them in this country. There is hoards of evidence that black people and other groups are being hurt by it.

You have finally lost all credibility. You ONLY bash the right an ALWAYS run to the defense of the left. Your statements are on record an you can not now pretend to be some moderate now that you want the discussion to lean more left after Trump took office.

That is your angle. You are a sudden independent. Clap clap.
