Credits to RandyforRubio for the more nuanced response. Ocasio-Cortez makes errors, like any politician with a social media presence, but also gets targeted for a lot of exaggeration, mischaracterization, and similar stupidity. For someone who's 30 (or so), she does well.

At this point I'm convinced the political establishment despises AOC (that's both republicans and democrats) because she represents their greatest fear - and that's a true grass roots candidate that overcame the system they put in place to protect themselves.

Over the past 25 years, starting with Gingrich, but the democrats have been complicit, congress has been rigging the primary system in the United States where it's virtually impossible to get in the door without a ton of corporate money.

AOC went up against that and still won because at the end of the day, after all the money and all the gerrymandering, it's still one person/one vote. For that alone she should be applauded and encouraged.

They both tweet a lot? Trump's Twitter is nonstop name calling and outright lying. AOC gets things wrong sometimes. They aren't equivalent.
