Thanks. I got lucky in the draw, and then the board fell almost exactly how I hoped it would until the 5th and 6th rounds. By that time, my core was in place and the hard part was selling my team in the head to head matchups. Some guys are a lot better at that than I am.

Yeah tried my best in my match up .. was close at one point but just wasn't good enough.. better luck next year I guess.. hahaha..

Yeah I tried to play the "what would people vote for" angle this time around. The funny thing is I think I built a pretty solid team in the process. But these things are not about building the best team. It's about getting enough popular names to get people to vote for you.

You also have to gauge the evolving opinion of the board. Grabbing Stock or Malone in the first one of these carried a lot of votes, especially Malone. Not so much anymore.

This is a closer match than I had initially thought. But Ellis. Ultimately, there's one ball, and Jordan will forever be the best at impossible shots at the best possible time (which kind of negates the importance of spacing in a sense). And while I am a disciple of defense starting inside and Spy's rotation is insane, you can't match Ellis' perimeter D/two-way play.

These things should have a rule that you can't draft Jordan. BTW.

I think it was vslice or maybe even Spy 4 years ago that had the most insane team I've seen. It was that one where half the team was Jazz players and half were not, and you went decade-by-decade from the 70's on.

Really close match up, this is the one that I had the hardest time choosing between. But I just can't choose against Jordan. These fantasy drafts seem like fun, I did an all time draft once and we had a full 30 team draft....it took awhile ha
