I think it was during the sentencing phase where the State showed that she posted something on IG saying 'Shoot first, ask later', or something along those lines. It was not allowed during the trial but allowed during the sentencing phase argument.

Then her mentality should have landed a harsher sentence because it's reckless. If I shoot a salesman at my door tomorrow because I felt threatened and was distracted you think I'm getting 5-10 years?

The key witness (his neighbor) who helped put her away was just shot and killed at close range today. He was shot several times in the chest and mouth. Doesn’t appear that anything was taken. So robbery isn’t the motive.

This... is too much of a coincidence to not be suspicious, right?

Is it true she had white supremacist family members? What was her lover/partner doing today? This could get real ugly...

How dumb can someone be? It had to be her lover, one of her family members, or a cop.

Guess they couldn’t wait to do this so it was less suspicious.

1. She invaded his apartment. She screwed up.
2. She killed him without warning.
3. She got off on a relatively light sentence. Had the races been reversed I guarantee you he would’ve gotten a much harder sentence.
4. So obviously his neighbor and witness to the crime must die so let’s kill him and shoot him in the mouth like mobsters do in retaliation to squealers.

Outrageous.

If it’s a cop, imagine the ugliness that’s going to follow. Two black lives were taken completely unnecessarily because one stupid (white) cop couldn’t figure out which apartment was hers.

OMG... seriously? I saw his testimony.. he was sobbing real bad half way through.. it was hard to watch.

Damn.. that really sux.

Thanks for posting.

But the article I think overstated it a bit saying he's the key witness.. the State called about 4-5 neighbours to testify to the moment of the shooting and all more or less said the same thing about the sound of the gunshot, etc. His testimony was one of those so not exactly a 'tipping point' type testimony, (I think the gunshot trajectory, the layout of the room, his eating an ice cream, etc, were more important), although it did help.

He was clearly the most visibly distressed neighbour though as he did cry during his testimony and none of the other neighbours did iirc.
