I think the restrictions on names is idiotic. With very few exceptions (such as swear words being names) parents should be free to name their child what they wish.

Why should we restrict swear words? The only reason a swear word is a bad word is that everyone thinks its a bad word, the N word included, so if we let them be used in everyday speech we can take their power away. Or we can keep letting them control us, which is what people seem to want to do.
