AST Ratio is better. Luka has the second highest AST Ratio of all players with a >30% usg. He's 7th highest for the top 50 usg% players.

Ya he actually passes more than most of the high usage players in the league.
Offensively there isn't much to be critical about from Luka. He is a 24 year old offensive assassin with a great all around offensive game (turnovers are too high though imo)

Defensively there is plenty to complain about and he does whine to the refs more than most.

Jazz would be EXTREMELY lucky to have him on the roster. So would every team in the NBA.

Ya you can actually look up total number of passes as well and find Luka looking pretty good.

Luka has high usage. Number 1 in the league.
Others with really high usage are SGA, Gianni's, ant, etc. Luka passes the ball more than those guys.

Also, do you think the Mavs would be a better team if Luka decreased his usage? My bet is that Jason Kidd and all of Luka teammates want him to have extremely high usage. I bet that they like winning games.
It would be selfish of Luka to lower his usage to make fans like him more only to result in hurting his teams chances of winning.

Edit: Embiid had the highest usage in the league.

Well said. Luka is always going to be high usage - as with all great offensive players - but he is also playing the way he is based upon the kind of talent that is around him.

Do you remember that weird Marshon Brooks/Dillon Brooks trade? The teams got confused on the last names and agreed to the trade but were talking about different players?

We gotta do that, but in some super ****** but somehow legally binding away. Get Luka Samanic to Dallas, and then offer a trade for Luka S. but in some ******** footnote clarify that Luka S. is Luka Slovenia. Boom.

I don't think I've seen worse D and his constant whining takes away from his D, while making watching him unbearable. He's exactly the same as Harden, but much more extreme in the whine department. For what it would cost to trade for him, and what he does or doesn't add to the team, no thank you.

We couldn't get him in a trade for every asset we have so that is a moot point. I really don't see an argument to say that Luka is a more selfish or me first player than Mitchell, I see no evidence of that. Luka has carried worse teams much further than Mitchell ever has as well.

You should compare Donovan and Luka if you want to make this claim. Compare their size, their age, their stats, their contracts, their awards, how far they have gotten in the playoffs etc.

His dad bod carried the Mav Kids to the pool.

Go watch highlights from the other series and you will see lob after lob after lob against OKC. Lively, Washington, and Gafford were fed over and over again by Luka.

The Celtics are a better TEAM. I would love to have Luka and Maarkanen highlight our roster. It would give me a reason to start watching games again.
