Which team do you think wins a championship first, Cubs or Jazz?

I'm guessing neither happens before I die.

Why don't you like Frazier? I think he's funny. My bball junkie father (got drafted back in his day) loves him, and he's even a Yankees fan. A lot of Rox fans hate him too, just wondering why.

Also, Goodman doesn't have the best voice but his game prep is top notch every single game. I like him for that -- his home run catch phrase is kinda obnoxious.

Frazier's the baseball counterpart to Scott Hastings. An annoying homer.

I could listen to Bill Walton read the phone book and I'd be happy. I ****ing love Bill Walton!

His schtick works so much better in the college game. It's one thing to hyperbole professionals, but to college kids that actually need the hyperbole? It comes off perfectly. He worked the BYU basketball game on Monday and it was classic.

No argument from me on that one. LA fans have had two of the greatest announcers ever in Hearn and Scully. And Utah had a great one in Hundley before his drinking and senility took over.

Good memories watching those Saturday games as a kid.

I was depressed when I read a few weeks ago that Hot Rod has a championship ring from the Lakers from they had him work on their broadcasts during the 2010 Finals.

Also, on topic, Root Sports hasn't convinced me to be a Rockies fan yet.

Let me try.

ROCKIES don't stand for steroid use like the BRAVES do with Dan Uggla. Back in 2009, Yorvit Torrealba was banging for a catcher and was the only ROX who could get a hit in the post season. But he was obviously roided up so they dumped him for this young bonehead Chris Iannetta (who the broke DODGERS were dumb enough to pick up). Now flip back to a club like the BRAVES. They reward roid use with a $62 million dollar Dan Uggla contract.

I don't even have to get started on the CUBS hiding Sammy Sosa's problem or the GIANTS drug problems with Barry Bonds or promoting Tim Lincecum's weed addiction.

That's just a little trash talk. Lincecum is one of my favorite players (especially since the Rox bomb on him a lot). It's actually kinda refreshing seeing a player who smokes instead of boozing it up in the locker room after every single game.

I hope to see him either come back to form or turn into the next Mariano. I'd be begging for that $160 million dollar closer status if I were him.

Lincecum was THE man, then just crumbled. I am torn on whether I believe he will ever be a legit starter again. His days as the ace are definitely over (the fact that the G's won the WS while he was having a bad year is very telling), but I think he could easily anchor the rotation if he gets his head straight. That being said, if Zito can keep it together, there's not a lot of room there. And as far as closing, Romo is solid. I'm expecting great things from him this season.
