You mean he tries not to take bad shots? Averaging 6 attempts a game. The leader is at 8. Shooting 51% this year only Bellinelli is better with fewer attempts though.
 
I don't know where that myth came from that Korver limits his 3 point attempts to protect his average...the dude once shot 558 threes in a single season. You can take that many threes in a season being WIDE OPEN all of the time.

pauls defense is exceptional. it only looked bad because he at first was trying to cover for al's mistakes.

Did you actually watch the Jazz games??? Yeah at the beginning of his career I agree, but after that he really did not put a whole lot of effort into it. Also his problem of undersizedness came into play a lot where bigger players simply scored over him.

Burks playing awful D.
 
Tanking or being inexperienced is one thing, but these guys are not coached well. What the hell is with Burks kamikaze-ing into traffic all the time?

yur right on.I know we need to lose but watching the mental destruction of our core through pathetic coaching concepts makes it hard to watch game in and game out.someone show coach Cardboard the door already.

That's on Kanter. At some point he has to realize that in that flex type set, the defense knows he's too gun shy to make any other play than one dribble parallel to the basket and handoff to the wing player. You know Kanter's going to do it every time, so the defense jumps it. Kanter HAS to learn to pass the ball and make good decisions with the ball.

Kanter is indeed acting with terrible offensive IQ but the guard lacked pushing back to receive the pass in time in two of those situations.
