And it's not like it's all his fault. Had way too much practice time lost due to the Kentucky fiasco and the lockout. He's got the one on one skill. He has to learn floor awareness and how to pass the ball. That should be his focus for the next year. This fourth quarter he'll look great 'cause they'll feed him and Atlanta will have weaker defenders out there and they won't do a hard double and guys like Cakar will scream that will be proof he's a great player.

Really? Dude only plays 20 minutes per night, plays his role well and is productive. Kanter wouldn't play under Pop (just like JaVale didn't play that much under George Karl).

I wish but the jazz are having an off night on the road against a pretty good team..... don't read to much into this game.

Also I think I saw something about the jazz have played the toughest schedule in the nba so far or something..... that is not good for the tank

Look at Splitter when he entered the league. Look at him now. What has he improved the most? PASSING. I guarantee under Pop, Kanter would be a different player.

Just most road games and western opponents. Same with Golden State, so that's no good.

Sure, but he'd be buried for another year until he learned. He wouldn't be given minutes playing like he is, much to the chagrin of the playing time is the only way to develop posters here.

Can be passing be tought/learned or do you have to be able to jump high and run fast to pass?

Its not just about Kanter being a bad passer, its also about Kanter being afraid of making mistakes. You have to now how to handle different types of personalities if you are the headcoach. Corbin is absolutely miss handling Kanter.

This is Kanters 3rd year. If you don't have someone to teach you correctly, how are you going to learn? The worst thing to happen to Kanter was the combo of Corbin and Bigal.

Some truth in here.

But darkwing and gvc have made a lot of good points too.

Kanter probably isn't as good right now as some think.... and also is not as bad as some make him out to be.

Wish he would play more though..... its not like marv is an all star and key to our future
