[h=2]Utah Jazz[/h]2015-16 Record: 40-42
Western Conference teams are going to have a tough task ahead of them when facing off against the Utah Jazz. Finishing last season with a record of 40-42, they were two games away from making the playoffs, despite being tied with the Buck for having the youngest team in the NBA.

With another year under their young nucleuses belt, the hope is that the added experience will help get this team back on track and back into the postseason.

Especially now with the additions of Joe Johnson, George Hill and Boris Diaw, who will bring their own experiences with them to the team. Last season, the Jazz were 10-17 in games decided by 5 points or less, and in the end that came back to hurt them when they sat two wins away from the 8th and final spot in the playoffs.

With the additions of the guy they call Iso-Joe, Boris Diaw and George Hill, the Jazz have some older players they can play at the end of games. Hopefully that experience will help them close out fourth quarters better, mostly because it will keep the younger guys at ease knowing they have someone on the court with them that’s “been there, done that”.
And who knows, maybe with a healthier team this season and the additions of some much needed veteran talent, the Jazz can make to the playoffs.

"And who knows, maybe with a healthier team this season and the additions of some much needed veteran talent, the Jazz can make to the playoffs."

Not that much love... we MIGHT make the playoffs, eh? ESPN predicts that we will finish in the top 3 in the West and these Chop Suey Luey Diarrhea sauce heads are saying, "who knows... maybe... with a qualifying statement of a bit more health... and the veteran additions..."

They really went out on a limb there for us. Chop Suey Luey Diarrhea Dump Sauce indeed.

Is that an actual cite?

I just copied and pasted from GameFace's Post.

Hate to say it but this is a far more realistic assessment.

You love saying it

Calling me a liar?

I hate saying it because I wish it weren't true. But I think it is true. I would love to say that hey getting a few old guys makes us sudden awesome contenders for the throne, but it doesn't. Maybe if everyone else falls down then a modest rise by us equals a larger differential, but this take on it is far more realistic than "we are the 2nd best team in the west because some guy guessed we will be" then sticking to that mantra like your life depended on it. I would be shocked and thrilled if we win 45 games this year. That is the truth of it. Hell I would love to see us win 60 or even get close enough that we all are discussing if we will hit that or not at the end of the season. I just don't think what we added is enough to get us there. 45 is probably our ceiling this year.

But you keep drinking the kool-aid. That way you can continue your record of pithy one-line come-backs and smug insults rather than putting any thought to anything. Wouldn't want (expect) you do make that much effort.

If you think 45 is our ceiling, then why won't you take a bet that we'll win 50 games?

While I do not agree with Log's take on the Jazz, at all, maybe he isn't betting on here because he thinks it's stupid. Betting random people on the internet that I have never met, and most likely wont ever meet, is stupid to me.

There you go again with your "above the fray, holier than thou" tripe again.

How fun.

I don't see how George Hill fits into your synopsis of "a few old guys". He just turned 30. His game has aged well. It's fair to say that the next couple of years are "late-prime years". Diaw and Johnson are definitely different cases.

You going to report him if he called you a liar?

Come on man. We aren't dinging on a couple old guys - which George Hill isn't - we're dinging on finally being healthy. They were 30-21 (a 48 win pace) when Gobert, and only Gobert was healthy, and throw Favors, AB's, Haywards, and Exum's health in there too, and adding some true depth and an actual point guard. How can you actually say our ceiling is 45 wins? That's silly.
