Slow day .. so hear me out.

Sign and trade Boozer + Price (or Kosta or Fess) + a draft pick
for
New Jersey's Brook Lopez and Devin Harris (plus maybe a draft pick or whatever to make things work).

Why for Jazz: Get something for Booze and get an OK center. DHarris' contract is a long but he can be a 6th or 7th (if AK will be the 6th) man and a go to guy on the second unit. He can also play along side DWill in spot minutes. The pick is a sweetener for getting Lopez.

Why for NJ: Get Boozer, get rid of DHarris' long contract. NJN will probably think not just 2x but 20x if they'll do this as Lopez is supposedly their long term C.

Thoughts?

I would do it but NJ certainly wouldn't. They are in love with Lopez for a good reason. He is a big that everyone covets. They could just try to sign Booze without dealing their young center.
 
I think the Nets would replace Lopez with Favors in any deal like that. In any deal like that we would probably have to make it a 3 way to deal Harris' contract too.
 
Lopez won't be moved for a guy they could just sign outright. Doesn't make any sense. It's a lateral move at best and they'd be better off dealing Harris to in that rumored Harris/Granger package.
 
No offense OP, but this is the most one-sided and never-gonna-happen trade idea that i've seen on this board.
 
Yeah, as if NJ would do it. If they don't we could always sign and trade Boozer and Price for Kevin Durant and Westbrook.
 
Maybe he doesnt know that its Brook Lopez that is the better brother?.....or maybe he is just slow...

I wish Nets were that stupid to give us one of the best Centers in the NBA. I can really not find major weaknesses in his game. He will only get better (hopefully no injuries). I would love to throw any player -not named Deron- on trade list to get a player like Lopez.

By the way the Nets can just sign Carlos if they want him. I cannot wait to see the moment Avery Johnson yells at Boozer and afterwards send him to the bench because of his pathetic defense.
