He's a very good defender, especially for a young guard. He's also a good passer and does a bunch of little things to help his team.

All this would've made him a star 25 years ago. It's 2019 though, and he can't shoot so being a rich man's Nate McMillan isn't quite the compliment that it would've been back then.
 
I can just see JFC melting down as Ball misses shot after shot. Ricky would be like Jesus in comparison.
 
I actually think Ball would be a good fit with Donovan. A little extra Jazzmatazz.

But Dante could also be that guy if he keeps evolving the way he recently has.
 
Consider me mildly interested in E’Twaun Moore. Iirc, he’s developing as a PnR ball handler, has some defensive chops, and is a threat from 3.

Makes $8.8 this year and $8.6 next year.

He’s 6’4”ish and weighs 190ish
