I’d rather a player force his way out and get the team amazing assets in return than leaving cold turkey like others have.
I’d rather a player not make it all about them and quit on their team. They want to leverage their skill to get into a better environment? Fine. Doing it publicly while also quitting on your team? GTFO.

Didn’t follow the situation that close at all. Merely was stating they at least got tons of assets back for him opposed to nothing when he left in FA.

Out for the next two weeks at least with a calf strain apparently. Glad it wasn't anything worse.

Glad it's not worse. We play the Lakers in a week and a half so he likely won't play. Too bad, I really wanted to play them at full strength.

By the way it looks like George will be out for the upcoming LAC back to back.

It also looks like Kawhi may be out for one or both games as well.

Davis will miss at least the next 9 games.
Kinda a two edged sword here... I think the #1 seed is more important than seeing how we measure up to them full strength, but I did want to see how it looked when those teams have their main players on the floor.

Have to power through this stretch of the season and give ourselves a lead if these guys sit.

Play the hand you’re dealt. If AD, Kawhi, and PG are all out, well, just go win those games and find out what the matchups look like later.
Yup... sounds like AD is out until after the AS break. Could be an extra loss or two in those 9 games.

Who is the best backcourt creator he has played with? He doesn't even have to role... he can hang out in the dunkers spot and pickup offensive rebounds and dump offs.

Defense is a mixed bag but he can block shots... he gets steals... on a team like Brooklyn that would be helpful even if it changes a few possessions.

The guy has had *** teammates basically his whole career. If Dwight can be effective partly by cutting his ******** out then Andre could as well. Drummond might be more functional in a playoff series than Harrell because he is capable of protecting the rim. A motivated and focused Andre Drummond could be quite helpful to a few teams.
I dont think his teammates were that bad in Detroit, but he was always the most talented player on his team, so he got the touches. The team had to bend to his desires. On a team with stars, he's going to take a back seat and be more of a role filler.
