What if Dante is just Ricky Rubio?

Can't pass or steal like Rubio even from a young age. The shooting - I hope he'll become as good a shooter.

Definitely, but when Hood comes back he'll take up the minutes Jones played tonight. Unless Hood is so lost on both ends, I'd imagine he's already ahead of Jones (and Murphy for that matter).

I like Murry's versatility a lot and even though it will be bad if he's logging big minutes (meaning Burke, Burks, Exum, Hayward can't go) he's still a quality 10th/11th guy to throw in at either guard spot.

It's a tough call for sure, do you go with Jones' defense and vet leadership or do you go with Murry's creative plays on offense and potential.

Being at home also helped the jazz.

But the Blazers looked out of sync b/c it's preseason. Think they will figure it out as for the jazz that was a good display. We have to wait and see how the rest of the pre-season plays out.

I was hoping that nba.com posts the gamelogs like they do for regular season games. I like watching all the fgm/blocks/assists/steals of the Jazz players in about 10 minutes times after each game .

I was at the game and enjoyed it. I am optimistic about the season (reasonably optimistic).

That said, let's not forget that the Jazz opened the pre season last year with a 'great win' against Golden State. That was the highlight for the first three months of the season.

Another thing I saw that I didn't under Corbin is Kanters desire to play D.

He played very good defense his rookie season and good defense his sophomore season.

What's vet leadership really though? I don't even know if I want him sharing his journeyman experiences with our guys haha. I like Murry all day over him. I'm just thrilled the only thing I'm nitpicking is our 11th guy. Regular season can't get here soon enough..

His D continually declined under Corbin. Coach Q appears to have reignited that desire. Time will tell.

I can already tell that Hayward's bad % shooting was due to Ty forcing Hayward onto bad situations and causing him to work too hard. Not only will his shooting improve this year, but so will his defense.

I was also disappointed in Burk's play. He often looked like he was forcing the issue and often out of control, similar to how Hayward looked last year. Burke had some really bad and stupid turnovers.
