Anyone Else Happy Preseason is Over?

It’s so bad. The board and Jazz twitter are embarrassing themselves.

Last year we beat the Kings by 100 it was the sign that the Kings were #1 pick worthy (remember when they had to give their pick to the Celtics and it was for sure gonna be top 5?) and the Jazz were on their way to an even better season than the previous year.

First game of the season: @Kings, we barely pull off a win. Feel horrible about it. And 82 games later it turns out that was by far the best indicator of how the season would actually go for both teams.

Never seen so many preseason takes. And it looks like an additional reason to root for amazing Jazz success is that this place and the internet at large will be unbearable if everything doesn’t go perfectly all season.

It's also possible to stay positive amidst seeing both team strengths and weaknesses. As fans and observers we can comment on both.

I'm incredibly excited, and think we will be a force this season despite any slight concerns I have.

Or do you mean some people on twitter are having a meltdown over our preseason play?

The Utah Jazz is the only thing that keeps my mind away from all the other crap going on the world. Go Jazz! Can’t wait for that 1st tip-off!

I'm glad I don't have to listen to preseason panic anymore. Now I will have the privilege of 100% true and justified panic of the Jazz don't have defense or the shooting we were promised.

It's about to get real.

Why are Jazz fans so ****ing annoying and fear-ridden. Between the Jazzfanz Jack Strops and uno eye holes to the Twitter brigade. **** I hate some of you people.

Less than a week people. Time to send all your positive energy to the team.

Go Jazz!

Let's organise it. Born optimists - send the positive energy to the Jazz. Pesimists, grumblers, panickers - send all your black thoughts towards Lakers, Rockets, Houston etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if the first 2 weeks were a bit rough as well. The team is still getting to know each other. They aren't quite there just yet. But you see the flashes of what's to come. And those flashes are amazing!!!
I feel the same way, if only because the Jazz started a little slowly the last few seasons. But a few other teams (Clippers with Kawhi and an injured George, Lakers fitting in Davis and almost all their youngsters gone, Rockets fitting in Westbrook) will have similar problems.

Was it really meaningless garbage? Did Q learn anything from it. Did the players? Does the 15th player find it meaningless? Did the team learn a few things about their teamwork in a more real setting than practice?

I think it was important even if not the same as a regular season game. I also think what we saw was very close to what we will see in the start of the regular season and that Q is playing the long game in team improvement. Expect some losses early, he’s preparing for the playoffs and not for the best regular season record.
This entire thread is meaningless. Lol
