What's new

Anyone here live in St. George?

Interestingly, I will not loan money to people that don't have the ability to it pay back. I have no interest in foreclosing on someone and taking their property. Everyone I loan to is using the money to invest in a killer deal of their own. I have to understand their deal sufficiently enough to make me comfortable I don't have to be the bad guy and take their property. I never loan to people that are using the money unwisely or are just in a bad spot. I loan money to people that are also looking to make money... and I perceive myself to be helping them and taking my piece in the process. More akin to Shark Tank than old school loan sharking.
Good to hear you stick to your values and don't exploit helpless hopes. Because this kills many families. I don't see what you do as a wrong thing. Everybody from every socioeconomical class have their moments of Choosing to gain interest over some governmental gap or some trade deal lesser bargainer Who is misinformed or helpless or whatever. People usually just bash big capital owners forgetting every little thing they did and will do that are just as unethical but lesser impact. You also go smart off with this way because there really are people that will kill your money and economically kamikaze with it and there will be nothing you can do about it.

I post therefore I am...

So, I'm taking the job. Will start Oct 5. I'm excited. We found a house to rent, I'll be able to bike to work, have a pool, great hours...my poor wife might actually get comfortable in one spot. It's time. St. George seems like a great area. Close to a major city if needed, all the local amenities our family will need, close to all our favorite spots (all within a semi-short drive -- Mexico, So Cal, Davis County, etc) but yet far enough away that we can dictate our own schedule.

I apologize in advance for my kids coming into the area, they are...energetic. Ha ha.

I bet we'll love the weather this year. Then ask me again next August. Ha ha. But you guys tell me it never gets too hot to swim in a pool. ;) I'm trusting you guys.

Congrats.

Ya'll should do some mini meetups down there to introduce yourselves.

So where is your office?

321 Mall Dr. Horrible location. One of the first things we will look at is the lease and moving it. The office needs help. I'm excited. So much potential. Just needs a little direction.

Not an awful location, but could be better..

Can help.

Yeah, he said that in the past... But I decided not to bring that up at the risk of being a big-calfed dick.
To each their own.
Are you calling me a "big-calfed dick" shorty?
I just wasn't sure I was remembering the right person.
