Anything is Possible Now

So gut team, clear max cap space for 23.

Trade for picks.

Keep Don on and deal with him all season.

Hopefully draft Vik.

Have enough assets to both sign a max free agent and trade for an all-star.
Maybe that could be the way we do it.

Play Vanderbilt, Butler, Kessler and Balmero a ton.

Promise Don great things starting in 2023.

Biggest issue is that max free agent list isn't great. Hard to see anyone coming to Utah. Then after that it's just overpaying for mid.

Biggest surprise would be if you could convince Lebron to come if you could trade for a guy he wanted. That seems unlikely.

True.

I like having picks because they can get players when they come available. I can't stand KD, but with our picks, we could do a KD type trade next summer and not even think twice. We would have the cap space and the assets.

It would be great to add a stud in free agency and with our draft picks, but I think our gold will be struck via trades. Ainge being Ainge.

It's like people forgot the guy dropped 50+ in one playoff series. Karl Malone couldn't even do that. Hell, that's something you see guys like Jordan do.
And Jamal Murray apparently. You know, when our 50-point guy refuses to even attempt to stop the other guy from doing the same thing. Wings and guards have been cooking us for years. We would have more playoff wins if Mitchell had even tried to play some defense. You know, the thing he was known for coming out of college and has regressed in literally every year since his rookie year.

I really have no idea what direction Utah is going.

Could we trade Don?

Could we get KD?

Could we get Ayton?

We got so many picks now basically any move is possible.

It's overwhelming how many options the Jazz currently have.

Could we get Ayton and KD?

Bogey and a 1st for Ayton in a S&T?
Conley and three 1sts for KD?

I guess it's possible lmao.

I dont think Ayton sways Durant tho. I think if we want KD to sign off on a trade here, we have to be getting a top 10 caliber player in Utah. Someone who KD really respects.

Maybe he respects the hell outta Don? And for KD this would be a great chance to win a ring as the clear #1 guy. Sure he won two Finals MVP’s but everyone looks at the Dubs as Steph’s team and as Steph as a top ten player ever. Not saying he is or isn’t but this is the perception.

If you get Ayton and Durant, I legit think signing real guys for the MLE/BAE to round out the roster could be easier than we’d ever imagined.

The biggest doesn’t make any sense issue though is Brooklyn taking on Conley. Unless of course they feel they can trade Kyrie.
