News flash: Almost no center in the history of the NBA can defend effective in a "filter everything to the rim" system. The fact that Rudy Gobert can is a testament to his greatness.

Guards routinely beating their man at the point of attack and forcing Favors to defend 2 on 1's and Nate thinks he sucks at defense because he can't do it effectively like 99.9% of centers in league history.

When Gobert leaves the game, it's not Favors getting exposed on defense - it's our guards.

That was the reason Favors was signed. I don't understand why people just say oh well he sucks he's a nice guy so that's fine. Robin Lopez would be an upgrade over Favors. Stop making it sound like Favors is as good as there is after Rudy.

We played lazy and expected to win. We got bit by this. You have to play a little harder when you have two major players out. But I don't really mind this loss. It's not some big indicator of this team. Mitchell was great in the first and end of the fourth. The rest of the game he was killing us though. Defensive effort was low all around and they made a lot of big shots, especially from 3.
